Lip Enhancement

Many clients desire a fuller lip line. New materials have been developed to allow Dr. Tye to augment client’s lips. This gives one a more prominent pink portion of the lips. The augmentation can either by temporary fillers lasting several months by using resorbable fillers such as Juvederm, Perlane or Restalyne™, or results can be long-lasting by using permanent lip implants such as Permalip. This is a soft flexible tube inserted into the lip for a permanent result. Your own fat can also be harvested with a procedure called LipoSculpting to achieve long lasting natural appearing results.

For patients seeking an immediate improvement in the lips with minimal to no downtime a non-surgical lip enhancement procedure is indicated. This typically involves the injection of a soft tissue filler to plump the lips. This procedure is done with topical or local anesthesia. Many patients return to work or their regular activities immediately following the injections. You will see the results immediately. The most commonly used fillers provide results that last 3 to 6 months or longer. The most common problems are bruising and swelling that subsides within a few days.

The procedure can be done in the office with IV Conscious Sedation.
